UK casino operators A to Z: who runs each online casino

Register read 27 and 28 September 2026

Every online casino that takes players in Great Britain must hold a Gambling Commission licence, and the licence is held by a company, not by the brand on the screen. This site starts from those companies. For each one we show the licence, the company behind it, the sites it runs and any action the Commission has taken. Our team checks every fact; the method is set out at the foot of this page.

Casinos you may know, and who runs them

These are the casinos our team has rated, with the ratings worked out on 2 October 2026. Each card links to the page of the operator whose name the casino's own terms print.

Independent casino groups and bingo networks

On this site the operator is the company that runs the sites: the one their own terms name, and the one that holds the Gambling Commission licence. A group of sister sites is the set of sites run by the same operator or owner; sites that only share a licence are not sister sites. Some operators here run a handful of their own brands: BV Gaming's three active domains are betvictor.com, betvictor.mobi and hbingo.co.uk. Others carry dozens: Skill On Net has 40 active domains, among them PlayOJO and Spin Genie. Five of Broadway Gaming's ten active domains have bingo in the name, among them dottybingo.com and rosybingo.com.

Sister sites share the company that is answerable to the Commission for them. A bingo network, or a software platform that links games across sites, is not ownership (see the bingo network question below). What else sister sites share, such as one account or one self-exclusion, depends on each operator's terms, and each operator page says what those terms state.

When the name on the site is not the licensee

The register gives some domains on an operator's account the status White Label, and it does not say who markets them. The counts vary widely: Jumpman Gaming's account lists 133 white label domains and ProgressPlay's 94, against 19 and 20 active ones of their own. White label sites on a licence are not the licensee's sister sites, so our operator pages count them and do not list them. If a site's name is unfamiliar, the operator line in its footer or terms names the company that runs it, and that is the company to look up here.

Operators the Gambling Commission has fined

Two of the eight have a sanction on the register:

The other six showed no regulatory action when we read the register.

How we check an operator

  1. The licence. The Gambling Commission public register: account, status, licensed activities with dates, domain names and regulatory actions.
  2. The company. The register the company sits on, such as the Malta Gaming Authority's licensee register, or, where a register cannot be read, the company number the operator's own sites print.
  3. The sites' own words. Terms pages from at least two of the operator's active brands, to confirm they name the same licensee.
  4. The date. Every fact carries the date it was read. Where two sources name different companies or addresses, the page shows both.

Questions about UK casino operators

Which operator runs the most casino sites?

By active domains, Skill On Net, with 40, PlayOJO and Spin Genie among them. By every domain on its account, active or not, Jumpman Gaming carries the most, 231.

Is a bingo network the same as an operator?

Not always. An operator holds the licence; a bingo network links games and promotions across sites. Heart Bingo, for example, is run by BV Gaming, yet it names Playtech as the operator of its network-wide promotions.

Do sister sites share a self-exclusion?

Within an operator, usually, and each one's terms say how far. Jumpman, ProgressPlay, White Hat, Grace Media and Skill On Net apply it across their own sites; BV Gaming applies its safer gambling tools across its brands; Anakatech lets you choose one site or the whole licence; and the Broadway Gaming pages we read do not say it carries over automatically. Only GAMSTOP covers every licensed site at once.
