What Parrowby is
Parrowby is a guide to who runs each online casino for UK players. For every operator it sets out the owner or operator, the Gambling Commission licence and the sites run under it. It is neither a casino nor an operator.
We call two sites sisters only when the same operator or owner runs both, as the sites' own terms say. Holding the same licence is not enough on its own.
Most casino sites review brands. We work from the record instead: the Gambling Commission register, company registers and each brand's own terms, with the register's numbers used as they stand. If those sources name different companies or addresses for a brand, the page lists both and says which one the brand's terms name.
What we cover
Each operator page names the company that holds the licence, its Gambling Commission licence and the sites it runs. What we do not do
Parrowby takes no bets, opens no player accounts and handles no payments. Nothing is ranked by bonus size.
A site appears on an operator page because that operator runs it, not because of its offer.
Who writes Parrowby
The pages are written by the Parrowby research team. Parrowby names no individual author and shows no photo or credentials.
Facts about an operator are taken from a register or from the operator's own pages, and each is dated by when it was read.
For operators, the team reads the Gambling Commission public register and the licensee and company registers of Malta, Cyprus, Ireland, Alderney and Gibraltar, and searches Companies House.
Before a page is published, our team tests the casinos and checks each fact on it. The method has its own page, How we check UK casino operators.
Corrections
If a page turns out to be wrong, we go back to the register or to the site's own page and read it again. Only then do we change the text.
A gap in the record stays visible on the page and is not papered over.
This page gives no contact address because the site has none yet.
