Privacy policy

Last updated 2 October 2026. In short, the only personal data Parrowby keeps is its web server's access log.

1. Data controller

Parrowby is responsible for the personal data described on this page.

The name of the company or person who controls this data, and an address for privacy requests, have not been given yet. This section will name both once they are.

2. Our principles

We collect as little personal data as the site needs to run, and we keep it for as short a time as we can.

Parrowby is for adults. The minimum age for gambling in Great Britain is 18 in most cases, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

3. What data we collect and on what basis

Reading Parrowby does not require you to give us any personal data.

Our web server writes one line to its access log for each request: your IP address, the date and time, the page requested, the response status and size, the page you came from and your browser's user agent string. We use the log to keep the site running and secure, for example to find errors and abuse, and never for analytics or advertising. Our basis is our legitimate interest in running a working, secure website.

The site runs no analytics, sets no cookies of its own and stores nothing in your browser's local or session storage. The short script on each page only opens the phone menu and the More menu. Our cookie policy gives the detail.

Parrowby runs on a server rented from Hostinger Operations UAB. No other outside company receives data from your visit through our pages. Fonts come from our own server, not from Google Fonts, and the casino and operator logos are copies on our own server, not loaded from the casinos. A browser check on 1 October 2026, on 10 pages at three screen widths, looked for any request to another host and found none.

If a court, the police or another authority with legal power asks us for data, we give only what the law requires and only what we hold.

Our pages link to registers, such as the Gambling Commission public register, and to other outside sites. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and so does any gambling site you visit; they apply once you leave Parrowby. Our method page explains which registers we read.

5. Transfers outside the UK

Parrowby's server is in Germany, so the access log is stored outside the UK. We confirmed the location on 1 October 2026 from the hosting order and the public network record for the server.

6. Retention and data security

The access log is rotated daily and kept for 14 rotations, then deleted, so each line is kept for about 14 days.

The log never leaves our server and is shared with no one.

7. Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have rights over personal data we hold about you: to see it, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to limit how we use it, to object to how we use it and to receive it in a form you can take elsewhere.

The access log records an IP address, not a name. To find your lines, we may ask for your IP address and the date and time of your visit.

To use a right, write to the privacy address the data controller section will give. Until it is published, there is no address to write to.

8. Right to complain

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commission’s Office (ICO).

The ICO says: "In most cases, we recommend that you raise your concern with the organisation first and give them a chance to put things right." It adds: "If you’re unhappy with the organisation’s response, you can then complain to the ICO."

You can call the ICO on 0303 123 1113. On its website, the page to use is called "Make a complaint about how an organisation has used your personal information".

9. Changes to this policy

When we change this policy, we post the new version on this page and change the date at the top.

How you may use the site is covered by our terms of use.
