Gambling Commission register and Malta company registers, 28 September 2026

AG Communications Limited, the UK licensee of the Aspire Global group, holds a current Gambling Commission licence, but the register lists no active domain under it. The Commission settled with the company on 4 February 2025, after a review that found failings in its anti-money laundering and social responsibility controls. On the register the company has one trading name, aspireglobal. Our team read the register on 28 September 2026, and the sections below set out what it shows.

What happened to the Aspire Global UK licence?

The Commission began a regulatory review under section 116 of the Act after a Compliance Assessment of the remote operating licence of AG Communications Limited (licence number 039483-R-319409-017). The review found failings in the company's anti-money laundering and counter terrorist financing controls and in its social responsibility controls.

The register says the company failed to meet these requirements of the Licence Conditions and Codes of Practice between May 2023 and October 2024:

  • anti-money laundering (licence condition 12.1.1, paragraph 3)
  • remote customer interaction (SRCP 3.4.3, paragraphs 1, 4, 7, 9 and 11)
  • identification of individual customers, remote (SRCP 3.9.1 (1))
  • disclosure to customers (licence condition 4.2.1 (1))
  • reporting key events (licence condition 15.2.1 (15))
  • display of rules (SRCP 4.2.6 (1))
  • self-exclusion, remote (SRCP 3.5.3 (1))

The self-exclusion failing ran from October 2022 to May 2024. The other breaches began between May 2023 and November 2023 and ended between December 2023 and October 2024.

The Commission recorded the settlement on 4 February 2025. Its outcomes were a payment in lieu of a financial penalty of £1,407,834, divestment, Commission costs and a public statement. The register entry says nothing more about the divestment.

Is Aspire Global licensed in the UK?

Yes. On 28 September 2026 the register showed account 39483, AG Communications Limited, as Active. All three licensed activities were Active and ran to "Current".

The Malta Gaming Authority register lists a separate company, AG Software Limited (C41837, licence MGA/B2B/147/2007, Licensed), at an address in St George's Business Centre. It states no link to AG Communications Limited, and our search of that register found no licensee named AG Communications. We have not treated the two as one company. The Malta Business Registry search needs a login, so the company number of AG Communications Limited was not read.

Aspire Global sites

The register summary counts 78 domain names for this account and marks none of them Active. Its list shows 76, all Inactive, a difference of 2; our read also flagged the list as incomplete. We use the list. No domain is marked White Label. With no active domain to check, this page shows and rates no site.

A regulatory settlement. The register explains these as agreements the Commission may reach after an investigation, where the licence holder has been open and transparent with it. The dates, failings and payment are in the account above.

Which sites does Aspire Global run?

The register lists no Active domain under the licence, so we name none. Its list shows 76 Inactive domains.
